What is CandleMe
CandleMe transforms one of humanity's oldest rituals into a shared digital experience. A single candle can move from person to person in the real world, or travel instantly across distance through a message.
Each CandleMe candle contains a unique activation QR embedded directly into the candle design. When someone scans the candle, participation begins immediately.
The experience does not require accounts, downloads, or identity. Participants may optionally share simple information related to the moment, allowing organizers to understand participation in a respectful and functional way.
No barriers
- No login.
- No app download.
- No identity required.
CandleMe is designed as a guided ritual experience. Each candle preserves a simple structure so the moment remains calm, meaningful, and easy to share.
CandleMe is also used by organizations, professionals, and community partners to create shared experiences that move through their audiences and networks. These experiences can be guided, shared, and extended across both physical and digital environments, allowing participation to grow naturally through communities.
Patent-Pending Technology
The CandleMe platform is powered by patent-pending technology developed by IDDAS Technologies L.L.C.
This system allows a single candle to move across people, places, and communities while preserving the lineage of participation and the integrity of the shared experience.
Why Candles Matter
For centuries, lighting a candle has symbolized remembrance, hope, reflection, and unity. People light candles during moments that matter — to remember someone, support a cause, celebrate together, or simply pause.
CandleMe extends this timeless ritual beyond a single place. A candle can move through a room, across a city, or across the world.
What begins with a single flame can become a shared moment experienced by many.
How It Works
- 1
Scan the candle
Each CandleMe candle contains a unique QR activation embedded into the candle design. CandleMe candles are typically shared through real-world environments such as wellness spaces, gatherings, salons, and community events.
- 2
Participate instantly
Participation begins immediately without login or downloads. Participants may optionally add a message, dedication, or simple information related to the moment.
- 3
Pass the candle
The candle may be physically handed to another person nearby, who scans and continues the experience.
- 4
Share the candle
The candle can also travel digitally through text messages, email, or shared links.
- 5
Watch the moment spread
Each interaction becomes part of the candle’s journey, showing how the moment moves through people and places.
The Candle Can Travel
A CandleMe candle is designed to move. It can be passed physically from person to person, allowing people in the same place to share the moment together.
It can also travel digitally through text messages, email, or shared links, allowing the candle to continue its journey across distance.
A candle may begin with one person but continue through gatherings, communities, and events. Each time the candle is scanned or shared, the moment continues to spread.
The Three Explore Paths
Each CandleMe candle contains three guided paths that allow the experience to continue beyond the first moment. These paths are part of the CandleMe structure. They help the candle remain a ritual journey rather than a collection of random links.
They are discovered through interaction — by extinguishing the flame, touching the candle, and allowing the experience to unfold.
| Path | Public Meaning |
|---|---|
| Lightway | Meditation, reflection, calming content, or deeper emotional connection tied to the candle moment. |
| Gateway | Guided information, resources, services, or curated content connected to the purpose of the candle. |
| Doorway | Communities, gatherings, partner initiatives, retreats, events, and deeper opportunities for participation. |
Different types of candles may guide participants differently depending on the campaign, the organizer, the owner, or the purpose of the candle.
Lightway, Gateway, and Doorway are permanent structural doors within the CandleMe experience. These door names do not change. What may change is the destination or label within the guided experience.
Candle Ownership and Guided Experiences
Some candles are created and guided directly by CandleMe. Others may be created in partnership with organizations, sponsors, professionals, or community leaders.
Depending on the type of candle, parts of the guided experience may be connected to CandleMe, a sponsoring organization, a professional or service provider, or a campaign or community initiative.
Even when a candle is customized, CandleMe always preserves part of the experience so each candle remains connected to the broader network. This keeps the system flexible while protecting the integrity of the ritual experience.
Default CandleMe Candle
When a candle is created by the platform without a sponsor or owner, CandleMe controls all three exploration paths.
Sponsored Candle
When a candle is sponsored by an organization or campaign partner, the sponsor may control one or two exploration paths depending on the campaign design. At least one exploration path remains connected to the broader CandleMe network.
Professional or Partner Use
In some cases a candle may be used by professionals or partners who share the candle directly with clients or communities. Exploration paths may be shared between the professional user, a sponsor, and CandleMe.
Owned Candle
When a candle is fully owned, the owner may configure two of the exploration paths. One exploration path always remains connected to the CandleMe platform, ensuring each candle remains part of the broader network.
Sharing the Candle Professionally
Some individuals and organizations choose to actively share CandleMe experiences within their communities. These participants may include:
- Wellness practitioners
- Hospitality providers
- Community leaders
- Event organizers
- Local business owners
In these cases, the candle becomes more than a moment — it becomes a continuing connection point. As candles move through people and environments, participation may expand naturally through each network.
CandleMe provides optional structures that allow these participants to guide the candle experience, participate in campaigns, receive insights on engagement, and contribute to how the candle travels.
Participation is always aligned with the integrity of the experience.
Campaign Participation and Insights
A sponsor, partner, or organizer can launch a candle that moves naturally from person to person — both physically and digitally. As the candle spreads, participation grows organically through communities and networks.
Sponsors and organizers may receive insights including:
- Participation counts
- Geographic reach
- Participation lineage showing how the candle moved through communities
This allows organizations to understand how participation spreads while maintaining participant privacy. Each candle can represent a moment, a movement, or a message that spreads through participation.
Participation Lineage
Every time someone scans or shares the candle, the moment grows. CandleMe records the path of participation, showing how the candle moves through people and places.
The result is a living record of how a shared moment spreads through a community while maintaining participant privacy.
Use Cases
CandleMe can support many types of shared experiences. A candle may begin with a single person, but it is designed to move naturally through groups, communities, and events.

- Salons and personal care specialists
- Restaurants and hospitality hosts
- Attorneys, advisors, and consultants
- Coaches, educators, and community leaders
In these environments the candle can function as a shared experience, a connection point, or even a modern calling card that continues the relationship after the interaction. As the candle travels, participation can expand naturally through each person's network.
